Unorthodox and artistic, Sharyon A. Culberson has always enjoyed taking the path yet traveled, even with her career. After having performed in major American repertory and off-broadway theaters nationwide, she spent 9 years touring globally with a local company that used theatrical workshops to combat rape culture on college campuses and military posts. This tour inspired to develop her own interactive live workshop about reducing micro aggressions in the workplace and on-campus, entitled “NSFW” (College version: “Say What”). Sharyon is absolutely thrilled to be working in her hometown of Chicago these days. She is also thankful for the ability to celebrate her favorite city by participating in this artistic gift of “The South Side”, written by her childhood friend and fellow ETA theater alum, Natalie Moore. Sharyon can be seen in an upcoming appearance on Fox’s “Proven Innocent” airing this spring.
