Isaly Viana, best known as Isa, is a proud Puerto Rican & Mexican Chicago native. She is signed to Shirley Hamilton Talent Agency (#HamFam!) and has trained at The Second City, Acting Studio Chicago, Annoyance Theater, and Green Room Studio. Some credits include: Chicago Med, Raya in the Jeff Nominated De Troya, The Writer’s Room. She’s fresh off a successful world premiere of Back in the Day: An 80s House Music Dancesical by Miranda Gonzalez at the UrbanTheater Company, where she played “Miss B”. Upcoming: Carmilla Vive feature film (post-production). She loves Jesus, curly hair, and doing “hoodrat things with her friends”. She believes in social justice, accountability and growth; she hopes her time at 16th Street Theater will be fruitful, in both artistic collaboration and racial equity in theater spaces.
