Four Angels have been kicked out of heaven. With the assistance of a recording left by their formers they need to choose whether to navigate the complexities of being human or oblivion.
This live play with illustrations is 30 minutes.
Zoom talk back after the show with the playwright and cast.
When asked why they wrote this play: It’s hard to sum up all of the reasons I wrote this play; it came out of a part of me that I didn’t realize was screaming to be heard. Angels in the context of the mythology are genderless and that resonated with me in a deep way, so I went into this thinking I was writing an allegory for the queer community alone. But during the process of development I could see different perspectives that I didn’t know about because I had never experienced them. That being said, this play is for folks who are lonely, who are longing for community, and who need to know they’re not alone.
