16th Street Theater, currently in its 11th Season has been nominated for 4 Jeff Awards. The most to date for this nationally-recognized 60-seat theater.
The highest honor for this theater dedicated to playwrights are the two nominations for New Work: Aline Lathrop for The Hero’s Wife and Minita Gandhi for Muthaland. Minita Gandhi was also nominated for her Solo Performance in her own true story in Season Ten’s powerful Muthaland.
Lighting Designer and Artistic Associate Cat Wilson was nominated for her excellent noir lighting design for Ike Holter’s The Wolf at the End of the Block directed by Lili-Anne Brown.
We are so proud of our nominees and all the artists who came together in creation to make such recognition possible.
