16th Street hosts Tellin’ Tales Theatre’s virtual show HANDS UP! POLICE featuring a diverse group of writers with and without disabilities sharing their own personal stories exploring their experiences and truths around the controversial issue of policing. Show is available with closed captioning or with audio description.
PLEASE NOTE: Material covered in the stories is intense and of an adult nature. There is violence, drug references, and graphic descriptions in some of the pieces.
View the show and then join Tellin’ Tales on Sunday, March 21 after the performance for an in-depth guided discussion on Zoom around the topic of police. The discussion is designed to build connection, spark individual understanding and action, and change. From 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm CDT on Zoom.
