A journey between sound and silence.

When her Deaf mother gets cancer, a middle-aged woman moves back into her childhood room with two questions: “Where is God?” and “Who took my KISS poster?” Aiming for Sainthood (commissioned by 16th Street) is part two of Malinowski’s trilogy beginning with What Does the Sun Sound Like?, the totally true tales of a hearing daughter growing up in a Deaf family and culture.

Arlene Malinowski’s show A Little Bit Not Normal (formerly titled All Kinds of Crazy and presented at 16th Street in 2012) performed at Victory Gardens Theatre this summer.

Aiming for Sainthood is a part of 16th Street’s Pop Up Series for ALL IN 100 Club and 100 Club (choose 3 Pop Ups)
