1994. At 16 years of age David found himself in Uganda as a church missionary. When he follows the girl of his dreams into the woods to help a Rwandan boy he enters a world from which he will never fully be able to recover. 20 years later, after writing a memoir of his experiences, David is compelled to return after a note arrives at his door: “You didn’t tell them everything.” David will discover if his loyalty to his story impacted the truth he was willing to see.

Part of 100 Club Series 2016

“this powerful world-premiere production gracefully balances two stories, one public (the 1994 Rwandan genocide), the other personal (an account of two young American missionaries caught up in the upheaval” Highly Recommended in Chicago Reader by Jack Helbig
