Patrick’s first exposure to the 16th Street Theater was a most memorable one. He instantly fell in love with All Kinds of Crazy (now titled A Little Bit Not Normal) and Arlene Malinowski, the playwright and actor in this one person show. So in love that he had to see it again, and even one more time. Although that was the first performance that he saw at 16th Street, he has never missed one since. A lover of theater, particularly “morosely serious” drama, he has never been disappointed in a performance at 16th Street. He loves the edginess of the plays and feels the timeliness of the scripts that are chosen to be sheer brilliance. When he is not at the theater, Patrick is the Vice President of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn and has oversight of the Psychiatric service line at three other Tenet Chicago facilities as well. Patrick is also President Emeritus of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Metro Suburban.
